Dongmyung University Department of Pet Grooming and Behavior Correction, All First-Year Students Complete KPA Certification
Dongmyung University (President Jeon Ho-hwan) announced on the 10th that all first-year students in the Department of Pet Grooming and Behavioral Correction (Department Head Professor Kwak Jin-sook) recently completed the advanced curriculum KPA (Better Vet Visits).
This is the second certificate obtained in the KPA program, following the first semester. This course is based on positive reinforcement education.
The department is dedicated to training experts by adopting the official curriculum of Karen Pryor from the United States, renowned worldwide for positive behavior education for companion animals.
It is equipped with practical classroom spaces and the latest equipment to train top companion animal experts.

Dongmyung University was the first in the nation to establish a dedicated College of Companion Animals, which includes the Department of Companion Animal Health, the Department of Pet Grooming and Behavioral Correction, and the Division of Companion Animal Industry (with majors in Pet Food and Companion Animal Industry Design).
