Jangseong-gun Accepts Applications for 'Farmer and Fisherman Public Interest Allowance' Until the 23rd

Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 9th that it will accept applications for this year's Public Interest Allowance for Farmers and Fishermen support project until the 23rd.

The payment targets are ▲business owners who have had their address in Jangseong-gun before January 1, 2023, and ▲have been registered and engaged in agricultural, forestry, or fishery management entities since before January 1, 2023.

Those whose comprehensive income excluding agriculture and fishery in 2022 exceeded 37 million KRW, ▲public officials and employees of public institutions, ▲those who have fraudulently received subsidies such as direct payments, ▲those who have been penalized for violating the Farmland Act, Mountainous Area Management Act, Livestock Epidemic Prevention Act, or Fisheries Act, ▲and those who have separated households while living at the same place as a Public Interest Allowance recipient are not eligible for payment.

Applications must be submitted with the application form, pledge of compliance, certificate of management entity registration, and other required documents to the administrative welfare center in the applicant's town or township by the 23rd.

The county plans to start allowance payments from April after verifying eligibility and conducting reviews.

The allowance will be paid in Jangseong Love Gift Certificates worth 600,000 KRW, and only one person per household can receive it. In the case of a married couple, even if both are business owners of management entities, the allowance will be paid to only one person.

County Governor Kim Han-jong said, "I hope the Public Interest Allowance for Farmers and Fishermen will serve as a catalyst to enrich the lives of agricultural workers," and added, "We will do our best to ensure the related work proceeds smoothly so that payments can be made without any issues."
