Family claims "Assaulted and stalked by ex-boyfriend"
A woman in her 20s, who had been suffering habitual violence from her boyfriend, fell to her death from an officetel in Busan.
On the 8th, the Busanjin Police Station announced that Ms. A, a woman in her 20s, fell to her death around 2:30 a.m. the previous day from the 9th floor of an officetel in Jin-gu, Busan. The first person to report to 119 was her boyfriend, Mr. B, also in his 20s. Mr. B reportedly told the police that Ms. A fell after having an argument with him.
It was confirmed that Ms. A and Mr. B had a severe fight in early last month, which was reported by neighbors. When the police arrived at the scene, both parties claimed mutual assault and did not want to file a case, so the incident was closed.
The bereaved family and acquaintances claim that Ms. A had been subjected to continuous violence and stalking by Mr. B after their breakup. They state that she was beaten to the point of bruising, and wherever she went, he obsessively demanded, "Send me photos," and she also received insulting messages. Additionally, when Ms. A broke up with him, he came to her house and rang the doorbell for 13 hours straight.
