Icheon-si Conducts On-site Training for New Farmers
Recruitment of Candidates Until the 2nd of Next Month
Transfer of Farming Techniques Through Step-by-Step Practice
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City is recruiting candidates for the 'New Farmer On-site Training Education' program until the 2nd of next month to support the stable settlement of new farmers in farming.
The number of trainees to be recruited is 6 (3 trainees and 3 leading farms). Trainees (mentees) and leading farms (mentors) with the same crop will form a team, and through step-by-step practical training, trainees will learn farming techniques and management methods from the leading farms.
The on-site training period is 5 months. Trainees will receive a training allowance of up to 800,000 KRW per month, and leading farms will receive a teaching allowance of up to 400,000 KRW per month. Trainees must enroll in the Agricultural Safety Mutual Aid.
Applicants who reside in rural areas of Icheon City and are ▲returning farmers within 5 years of migration ▲new farmers registered in agricultural management entities within 5 years are eligible to apply as trainees.

Those interested can download the application form from the Icheon City Agricultural Technology Center website and submit it in person to the Human Resources Development Team of the Agricultural Promotion Division at the Agricultural Technology Center.
