Gwangju Buk-gu Selected as an 'Excellent Institution' for Digital Government Innovation Merit
On the 8th, Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced that it was selected as an 'Excellent Institution in Information Security' in the '2023 Digital Government Innovation Merit Evaluation' hosted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
This evaluation is conducted to discover public and private institutions and organizations that have enhanced resident convenience through digital innovation.
It selects excellent institutions through a merit review of institutions and organizations discovered in 17 fields, including digital government innovation activation and overseas expansion of digital government.
Buk-gu was recognized for its achievements in the digital government information security field by regularly conducting information security management level assessments based on a systematic detailed implementation plan, proactively identifying and eliminating information security vulnerabilities, thereby improving overall information security levels.
