NCSoft Subsidiary Entrive Decides to Close... "Focus and Concentration"
It has been confirmed that Entribev Soft, a subsidiary of NCSoft, is undergoing closure procedures.
According to industry sources on the 4th, NCSoft decided the previous day to dissolve Entribev as of the 15th of next month and notified about 70 employees of recommended resignation.
As a result of this decision, the mobile massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'TricksterM' and the baseball games 'Pro Baseball H2·H3,' developed and operated by Entribev, are also scheduled to be discontinued.
An NCSoft official stated, "Considering recent management conditions, we decided to terminate Entribev Soft's game services and dissolve the corporation," adding, "This was an unavoidable decision based on selection and concentration aimed at future growth."
Entribev was a developer established in 2003 by the domestic game company Sonnori. In February 2012, it was incorporated as a subsidiary of NCSoft after acquiring shares from SK Telecom.
Pro Baseball H2·H3, which gained popularity at launch, reportedly held a small share of NCSoft's overall revenue as many competing baseball games were released. Additionally, the mobile game 'TricksterM,' released in 2021, suffered from a decline due to user attrition.
