Yoon Awards Appointment Letters to Seven Minister-Level Officials Including Choi Sang-mok
New Ministers' Families Attend Appointment Ceremony
President Yoon Suk-yeol presented letters of appointment to seven newly appointed minister-level officials, including Choi Sang-mok, Deputy Prime Minister for Economy and Minister of Strategy and Finance, on the 3rd.
On the afternoon of the same day at the Yongsan Presidential Office, President Yoon personally handed letters of appointment and encouraged Deputy Prime Minister Choi, Minister Kang Jeong-ae of the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, Minister Song Mi-ryeong of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Minister Park Sang-woo of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Minister Kang Do-hyeong of the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, Minister Oh Young-joo of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and Chairman Kim Hong-il of the Korea Communications Commission.
In particular, while presenting the letter of appointment to Deputy Prime Minister Choi, he said, "I look forward to your continued support." Deputy Prime Minister Choi previously served as President Yoon’s first Senior Secretary for Economic Affairs before moving to the position of Deputy Prime Minister for Economy.
President Yoon also presented bouquets to the spouses and families of the newly appointed ministers attending the appointment ceremony and took photos with them.
