Employee Participation Events Including CEO Meeting, Charity Event, and New Year's Concert
On the 2nd, Shin Young Securities held a kick-off event to welcome the new year of Gapjin.
Shin Young Securities chose the keyword for the Year of the Blue Dragon as "Talkative Shin Young Securities." This was inspired by the character ? (jeol, meaning talkative), which depicts four dragons gathered together. It symbolizes increasing communication not only with customers but also among employees to create a proactive and active year.
The kick-off event featured a variety of programs, starting with handshakes and greetings with the management team during the morning commute, followed by a rice cake soup lunch, a CEO meeting, and a New Year's concert. The CEO meeting was held both on-site and via online live streaming, providing an opportunity for CEO Hwang Sung-yeop and employees to freely discuss visions, innovation directions, and more.
CEO Hwang received great responses with honest and cheerful answers even to difficult questions. He spoke about market-creating innovation and the power of compound interest, emphasizing once again the importance of communication.
At the New Year's concert, Korea's representative master cellist Yang Sung-won and rising pianist Yoo Sung-ho delivered beautiful performances. The two performers showcased Rachmaninoff’s “Cello Sonata,” characterized by the cello and piano endlessly conversing, and Mendelssohn’s “Songs Without Words,” which expresses music as a wordless language. They deeply explored the theme of communication.
