KT Sarang Volunteer Group Shares Love with Visually Impaired for New Year
KT Jeonnam-Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters welcomed the New Year of Gapjin by visiting the Gwangju Metropolitan City Welfare Center for the Visually Impaired on the 2nd, donating goods and carrying out various New Year volunteer activities.
The KT Love Volunteer Group donated sponsored items including 400kg of rice at the Welfare Center for the Visually Impaired and shared a warm moment with tteokguk (rice cake soup) they cooked themselves.
They also conducted activities to experience various traditional seasonal customs, including the 'New Year Bokjori Hanging Event,' wishing for the health and luck of the visually impaired and volunteers.
This event was planned as part of disability awareness improvement to eliminate prejudice and discrimination against the visually impaired and to foster empathy as neighbors living together.
