Gwanak-gu to Hold '2024 New Year's Greeting Event' on the 5th
On the 5th at 3 PM, the 2024 Gapjin Year Lunar New Year Operation Direction and Vision Unveiled at Gwanak Art Hall Performance Venue
Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Jun-hee) will hold the "2024 New Year's Greeting Meeting" to welcome the vigorous new year with residents at 3 p.m. on the 5th at the Gwanak Art Hall performance hall.
This New Year's Greeting Meeting is an occasion to share the direction and blueprint of Gwanak-gu's administration in 2024. About 1,500 people, including Mayor Park Jun-hee, members of the National Assembly, city and district council members, heads of related organizations, and residents, are expected to attend and brighten the event.
Before the main event, various pre-event programs are prepared. The event will start energetically by exciting the residents with performances by the popera mixed group "Bosses Choir," viewing of the district promotional video "Sing, Gwanak," which features various activities of the district set to songs by the group Crying Nut, and more.
Afterwards, the district will create a meaningful New Year's Greeting Meeting with residents through a congratulatory song by the Gwanak District Women's Choir and viewing of residents' New Year's wish videos.
At the end of the main performance, a Samulnori percussion performance team will joyfully open the start of the year. In particular, a special event involving Mayor Park and six employee representatives presenting to the residents will make the event even more meaningful.
Also, in his New Year's address, Mayor Park Jun-hee plans to express a strong determination to achieve tangible results that residents can feel.
