Gyeonggi Women's IT Saeil Center Selected as Excellent Saeil Center for 2 Consecutive Years
The Gyeonggi Women's IT Saeil Center, operated by the Gyeonggi Job Foundation, was selected as an 'Excellent Saeil Center' for the second consecutive year in the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family's '2023 Saeil Center Business Operation Evaluation.'
In this evaluation, the Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center received the highest rating nationwide in the career development category for its professional and stable operation of vocational education and training programs.
Established in 2015, the Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center is a specialized vocational education institution that provides level-based education in three fields?planning and marketing, design, and development?for female job seekers aspiring to start or find employment in the information and communication technology (IT) sector.
The Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center completed a roadmap for nurturing female IT professionals through task force (TF) activities aimed at restructuring vocational education and training courses, pursuing innovative attempts. Based on this, it was recognized for its operational achievements in providing practical support measures that help IT job seekers with career planning.

A representative of the Gyeonggi IT Saeil Center stated, "These efforts were directly reflected in business performance, with the employment rate in the IT sector rising by 26.8 percentage points in 2022 compared to 2021, and the number of companies requesting recruitment increasing by 21 percentage points. This year, 113 people succeeded in employment or entrepreneurship through eight IT vocational education and training programs," they said.
