Hyundai Livart Forecasts 150 Billion KRW in Office Furniture Sales This Year... 20% Increase YoY
Office Furniture Business's 'Custom·Design' Specialized Strategy Proves Successful
Hyundai Livart announced on the 28th that its office furniture division sales are expected to reach a record high of 150 billion KRW this year. The company explained that it succeeded in securing a diverse range of clients from startups to large corporations by leading with customized space consulting services tailored to industries and personnel, as well as specialized products developed in collaboration with renowned designers. A Hyundai Livart representative said, "The office furniture division sales surpassed 100 billion KRW for the first time last year, and this year it is recording an average monthly growth rate of around 20%."
Hyundai Livart has been targeting the market by dividing its office furniture line into premium office furniture 'Livart Office' and home office and office furniture brand 'Livart Haum.' This was to proactively respond to the office market changes following the spread of COVID-19. Kang Min-su, Executive Director of Hyundai Livart's Office Business Division, said, "We focused on the significant changes in office culture, such as the spread of horizontal organizational culture centered on the MZ generation and the rising importance of rest and communication functions," adding, "In response to the increased demand in the office market after the endemic phase, it was effective to establish a differentiated content strategy tailored to customer needs rather than simply supplying office furniture."

Hyundai Livart proactively developed a dedicated office lounge product line including sofas and tables in various colors and designs targeting the MZ generation, who consider excellent work environments as part of welfare. Additionally, they introduced a customized office space consulting service called 'Office Tailor,' where a professional consulting team proposes optimal space configurations considering each company's work characteristics and organizational culture. Hyundai Livart stated that since the introduction of the new service, 60% of office furniture sales have been from customized production orders, showing high customer response. Furthermore, the cumulative number of consultation requests exceeded 300 within one year of the service launch.
