Engaged Couples Can Also Use KEPCO and LH Staff Wedding Halls... Online Reservations Available
Ministry of Economy and Finance to Open 4 Wedding Halls to the Public from Next Month
Reservations Can Be Checked on Alio Plus
Starting next month, art center Yangji Hall and LH Jinju Headquarters Namgang Hall, which were previously available only to employees of Korea Electric Power Corporation and Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH), will also be accessible to engaged couples.
On the 28th, the Ministry of Economy and Finance prepared a plan to promote the "Opening of Facilities and Equipment Owned by Public Institutions" at the 15th Public Institution Management Committee meeting, which includes this content.
Accordingly, four wedding hall facilities previously used by employees of KEPCO and LH (KEPCO Art Center Yangji Hall, KEPCO Namseoul Headquarters Auditorium, LH Jinju Headquarters Namgang Hall, and LH Gyeonggi Southern Headquarters Lobby) will be opened to the public. These four facilities can be reserved from the 15th of next month at the same cost as the respective institution's employees.
Facility and equipment reservations can be made starting from the 2nd of next month through the public institution innovation portal "Alio Plus." This reflects the voices of on-site users who said, "The reservation process for public institution facilities is inconvenient." Previously, users had to inquire about available dates and times by phone to the respective institution to make a reservation, but from now on, they can check reservation status and make reservations online through Alio Plus.
Additionally, digital features such as ▲mobile app launch ▲reservation notification service ▲facility usage satisfaction display will be introduced.
Furthermore, reflecting on-site feedback that "people are not well aware of whether public institution facilities are open," the Ministry plans to actively inform the public and promote facility usage through ▲installation of external signage for open facilities ▲introduction of excellent open facilities with high usability ▲announcements and promotions via highway rest area and station electronic billboards.
