Genesis New G80 Returns in Style with 'Two-Line Lattice Shield' Design

Genesis launched the facelifted model of the mid-large sedan G80 on the 26th.
This is a new car released three years after the launch of the 3rd generation model in 2020, with redesigned exterior and interior and some added convenience and safety features. The front grille was changed to a double mesh structure, and the dual-row headlamps now feature newly applied MLA technology. The wheel design was updated, and a new brown exterior color was added.
The interior was changed to a 27-inch integrated wide display that combines the cluster and infotainment system. The climate control was switched to a touch type, and the shift dial was designed with a crystal finish. The sound system was upgraded to Bang & Olufsen, and the speakers are made of aluminum material. The horn cover, steering wheel, seats, and some interior materials were also changed to emphasize a luxurious impression.
The front and rear seat temperatures and airflow can be adjusted separately, and new convenience features such as an in-cabin fingerprint authentication system, storage compartment UV sterilization function, and heated armrests were added. The G80 Sport Package 3.5 Turbo model includes an electronic limited-slip differential and an active rear-wheel steering system.
The price is 58.9 million KRW for the 2.5 gasoline turbo and 65.5 million KRW for the 3.5 gasoline turbo. The G80 Sport Package is priced at 62.9 million KRW for the 2.5 turbo and 71.1 million KRW for the 3.5 turbo. Prices increased by approximately 3.07 million to 6.02 million KRW depending on the trim.
