Train Trip with My Dog... Ulsan's Pet Culture Expansion Promises a Big Hit
Christmas Travel Package with Pets Operated
200 Pet Owners and 145 Dogs... Positive Reviews Continue
The ‘Ulsan DaengDaeng Train,’ organized by Ulsan City and the Ulsan Culture and Tourism Foundation, is forecasted to be a huge success in spreading a new companion culture.
Ulsan City announced on the 25th that the pet dog travel package, held from the 24th to the 25th, received high praise from tourists nationwide.
The ‘Ulsan DaengDaeng Train’ is a tourist train product planned after Ulsan City was selected as a pet-friendly tourism city in a contest hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Tourism Organization earlier this year.
The Ulsan DaengDaeng Train, carrying 200 pet owners and 145 dogs, operated by renting all temporary train cars (6 passenger cars and 1 caf? car) of the Paldo Market train.
On the 24th at 9:30 PM, the dogs and their owners boarded the dedicated train at Seoul Station, stopping at Yeongdeungpo Station, Suwon Station, Pyeongtaek Station, Cheonan Station, and Daejeon Station, arriving at Taehwagang Station around 3 AM on the 25th.
They then traveled around Ulsan, creating unique memories with events such as a Christmas event, sunrise viewing at Ganjeolgot, and sightseeing at Daewangam Park.
