Hantoo Asset Management Launches New ACE US Stock Bestseller ETF
Korea Investment Trust Management announced on the 22nd that it will newly list the ACE US Stock Bestseller Exchange-Traded Fund (ETF) on the Korea Exchange on the 27th.
The ACE US Stock Bestseller ETF is a product that contains the 10 best-selling US stock bestseller items most purchased by domestic investors. The underlying index is the 'FnGuide US Equity Best Seller Price Return Index KRW Converted Index,' calculated and published by FnGuide.
The 10 included stocks are based on the top foreign securities deposit details provided by the Korea Securities Depository. The data reflects not only the trading trends of individual investors but also the foreign securities deposits held by investment traders and brokers, as well as data from general corporations, encompassing the overall trading status of domestic investors in US stocks.
To quickly reflect investor trading trends, portfolio rebalancing is conducted monthly. The portfolio consists of 80% of the top 5 stocks by net foreign securities deposit purchase settlement amount, total settlement amount, and custody amount, and 20% of the remaining 5 stocks. As of the previous day, the top included stocks are Tesla, Apple, Nvidia, AMD, Palantir, and Eli Lilly, among others.
Measures to enhance investment stability have also been established. When including stocks, in addition to net purchase amount, total settlement amount, and custody amount, financial stability is also considered. Financial stability is based on either three consecutive years of net profit surplus or a reduction in net loss.

Nam Yong-su, Head of ETF Management at Korea Investment Trust Management, said, "The ACE US Stock Bestseller ETF is the first ETF product reflecting domestic investors' overseas stock preferences based on accurate data," adding, "Due to investment platforms and various investment content, domestic investors' overseas stock investments will continue in the future."
