HiteJinro, Proactive Price Reduction of 'Chamisul·Jinro' Within the Year
Scheduled for implementation next year but supplied at a prioritized reduced price within this year
In line with the government's efforts to stabilize prices and ease consumer burden
HiteJinro announced on the 21st that it will proactively lower the shipment prices of its soju products, 'Chamisul' and 'Jinro,' starting from shipments on the 22nd.
HiteJinro originally planned to reduce the shipment prices of its soju products from January 1st next year, following the government's introduction of the standard sales ratio. However, in response to the government's year-end efforts to stabilize prices and to ease the burden on self-employed business owners and consumers during the peak season, the company decided to supply the products at the reduced prices starting from shipments on December 22nd, before the law takes effect.
