"Even though I shouted to stop, they kept sweeping"
"Simple kindness" vs "They must have known it would cause damage"

Recently, a post titled "The downstairs uncle sweeping my car with his own broom because it snowed" was shared on an online community.
The author, Mr. A, looked out the window to see how much snow had fallen and witnessed the downstairs uncle sweeping the snow off his car with a broom.
When the uncle was tapping the car with the broom and causing scratches, Mr. A shouted, "Don't do that," but the uncle continued, saying, "If the temperature drops below freezing tonight, the snow will freeze. It needs to be cleared."
Mr. A said, "He kept trying to clear it, so I told him not to, but when I went downstairs to check, he had swept it so diligently," and added, "I have never used an automatic car wash in two years, only hand washing and self-service washing, so this is really frustrating and upsetting."

In the photos, traces of broom sweeping were clearly visible on Mr. A's ▲imported car's hood ▲front windshield ▲rear windshield ▲trunk. The broom used by the uncle had stiff bristles fixed with red plastic on a wooden stick, a snow-specific broom with stiffer bristles than a regular broom, making it easier to clear snow.
Netizens who saw the news responded with comments such as, "It's a difficult situation. From the uncle's perspective, it was a considerate act, but if the car owner didn't want it, it shouldn't have been done," "Such meddling is endless," "The scratched parts should be compensated," "If sued, he will probably say 'screw you'," "It's worse than being scratched with a coin," and "He must have known it would cause scratches."

On the other hand, some netizens said, "There is no neighborly affection these days. It was a kind gesture," "From the uncle's point of view, it was considerate, so suing is too much," "Next time, be clear about it," and "He did it with good intentions, so was it really necessary to post this?"
