'Noryang' US→New Zealand Release... Director Kim Seong-su Provides Support
The film 'Noryang: Sea of Death' will be released starting from January 4 next year in Australia and New Zealand, beginning with four theaters in the Los Angeles (LA) area in the United States on the 22nd of this month, Lotte Entertainment announced on the 19th.
Doris Padrescher, CEO of Well Go USA, which is in charge of the North American release, said, "We are allowing audiences to experience the final chapter of this three-part war narrative that changed the course of history," adding, "Director Kim Han-min approached a page in history and brought Admiral Yi Sun-sin's legendary final battle back to life on the screen."
'Noryang: Sea of Death' (directed by Kim Han-min), which opens on the 20th, is a grand war action film depicting Admiral Yi Sun-sin's last battle to completely annihilate the Japanese forces retreating from Joseon seven years after the outbreak of the Imjin War. It portrays the thrilling victory at the decisive moment.

Director Kim Seong-su will provide support. Director Kim will participate in a Q&A session with the audience for 'Noryang: Sea of Death' at 7 p.m. on the 21st at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Seoul.
