Kim Byung-min "Lack of Political Experience in Korea? Far More Important Is Political Sensibility"
As the People Power Party transitioned to a provisional leadership system following the resignation of Representative Kim Ki-hyun, internal debates have arisen over whether to appoint Minister of Justice Han Dong-hoon as the provisional leader. Amid this, Kim Byung-min, a Supreme Council member of the People Power Party, expressed a positive view, saying, "Minister Han is someone who understands public opinion better than anyone."
On the 19th, during CBS's 'Kim Hyun-jung's News Show,' in response to the host's question, "Can Minister Han speak frankly to the Presidential Office?" Kim said, "If he is someone who fundamentally knows what the people are thirsty for, I believe he will not only deliver frank criticism without reservation but also bring about change through that criticism," defending Minister Han.

However, at this meeting, opinions advocating for Minister Han to be appointed as the provisional leader were prevalent. Kim also said, "Even those who expressed opposing views argued that 'Minister Han Dong-hoon should not be used in this way,' and there were not many voices explicitly opposing him."
Nevertheless, some express skepticism due to Minister Han's lack of political experience. In response, Kim said, "Some have pointed out the lack of political experience as a major problem regarding Minister Han. However, I believe that political acumen is much more important than political experience," suggesting that Minister Han can overcome challenges through political acumen.

There are also concerns that if Minister Han, a close aide of President Yoon Suk-yeol, becomes the provisional leader, it could spark an 'avatar controversy.' Regarding this, Kim said, "I think such criticism is understandable," but added, "Many people are urging the Yongsan Presidential Office to change, and there are talks that Minister Han, who can speak candidly to the President and actually bring about change, might paradoxically be the most suitable person for the current situation."
