On the 17th (local time), the PGA Tour announced, "Due to heavy rain of 5 inches (approximately 127mm) in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, where the tournament is being held, there will be a one-day delay." Players who finish within a tie for 5th place or better after 4 rounds will earn PGA Tour cards for next season. The top 40 players will be eligible to play on the Korn Ferry (second-tier) Tour.
