Among companies located in Gangwon Province that received the Export Tower, Hugel achieved the highest export volume. Accordingly, on the 14th, Hugel received a plaque from Kim Jin-tae, Governor of Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, at the '7th Gangwon Exporters' Day' event hosted by the Korea International Trade Association Gangwon Regional Headquarters.
Hugel's flagship products, the botulinum toxin (BTX) 'Botulax' and hyaluronic acid (HA) filler 'The Chaeum,' continue to grow not only domestically but also in the global market. Botulax is sold and approved in over 60 countries worldwide. Notably, Hugel was the first domestic BTX company to launch products in China, Europe, and Australia. In Europe, Hugel has already entered major countries such as Germany, the United Kingdom, and France, and plans to expand its market to more than 30 countries in the near future. Sales are also expected to begin in Canada, where approval was obtained last year.
The Chaeum is also sold in over 40 countries worldwide. In the third quarter of this year, sales in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region recorded growth in the 20% range. Especially in Europe, it set a new record for the highest quarterly sales. Hugel has entered more than 20 European countries and has achieved an average annual growth rate of over 50% for the past three years.
Hugel plans to expand its sales network throughout Europe, including the Netherlands and Belgium, aiming to double its market share within three years. In Thailand, the initial shipment was completed on the 12th, and sales are expected to commence locally.
