Osan-si Selected as an Excellent Institution for Land Information Management
Comprehensive Evaluation of Do: 'Address Information' Field
Osan City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 13th that it was selected as an excellent institution in the 'Address Information Sector' in this year's Gyeonggi Province Comprehensive Land Information Evaluation.
This evaluation was conducted by Gyeonggi Province to promote fair real estate policies and provide high-quality and diverse land information services. Every year, the province evaluates the progress of land information tasks in 31 cities and counties across the province, divided into seven sectors: land policy, cadastral management, real estate management, real estate fairness, spatial information drones, address information, and cadastral readjustment.
The 'Address Information Sector,' in which the city was selected as an excellent institution this time, was evaluated based on detailed criteria such as customized promotion and utilization support for road name addresses, expansion and maintenance of address information facilities, national point number notation surveys, and assignment of detailed addresses.
Previously, the city received high praise in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's '2023 Local Government Address Policy Best Practices' contest for producing its own promotional video on road name addresses. The city also added that it received high evaluations for significantly contributing to citizen safety in mountainous areas without road name addresses by installing national point number plates through cooperation with related organizations.
