Incheon Airport Corporation Entrusts Operation of Kuwait Airport Terminal 4
Contract Amount 42.6 Billion Won
Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 13th that it has signed a contract to extend the consignment operation of Kuwait Airport Terminal 4, which began in 2018, for one more year. The contract signing ceremony was held on the morning of the 12th (local time) at an event within the Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority. Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, and Imad Faleh Al Juluway, Chairman of the Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority, signed the contract.
The contract period for this project is 12 months, and the contract amount is 32.76 million USD (approximately 42.6 billion KRW). The corporation is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Kuwait Airport Terminal 4. The total contract period has been extended to 6 years and 3 months, with a total contract amount reaching approximately 204.5 billion KRW.

Regarding the contract extension, the corporation stated that the Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority proposed the contract first, highly evaluating the operational performance demonstrated during the first phase of the project.
