FG Korea, which operates Five Guys stores in Korea, announced on the 13th that Kim Myung-jun (28) from the Gangnam branch was selected as the top store employee in the 'Five Guys Game.' Kim will attend the Five Guys Global Convention held in Las Vegas, USA, in February next year.

Five Guys held preliminary rounds among store employees who applied, and the final winner was decided in the finals held on the 12th.
The game consisted of three categories: the 'Potato Race,' where participants quickly and accurately cut a 20kg sack of potatoes; the 'Cheese Race,' where 40 slices of clumped cheese had to be stacked one by one without tearing; and the 'Quality Control Race,' where one burger and one hot dog had to be dressed accurately and packed quickly. Kim recorded a total time of 3 minutes and 3.59 seconds across the three categories, winning by a 15-second margin over the second place.
Kim will attend the Five Guys Global Convention held in February next year. The Five Guys Global Convention is a global event held every two years, inviting operators worldwide to share business achievements. At this event, winners of the Five Guys Game selected by country and continent compete once again to determine the final champion. The event has been held 20 times so far. The global championship prize money was $50,000 as of 2021.
