"Get On/Off Notifications" Naver Map Public Transit Navigation Service
Naver announced on the 11th that it has launched the 'Public Transportation Navigation' service to enable users to travel more conveniently to their destinations through the Naver Map app.
Public Transportation Navigation is a service that provides necessary information during the journey to the destination based on the user's current location.
Naver Map has added various convenience features to support users' multitasking. It offers notifications in various ways such as ▲voice guidance ▲pop-ups, allowing users not to miss boarding or alighting points even while reading or watching movies. A 'Shortcut to Current Route' button has also been added to the map app screen. Users can explore places worth visiting on the map app while receiving navigation and quickly switch to the navigation screen by pressing the button if needed.
Naver Map continuously strengthens its 'Real-time Location Engine' to more accurately match users' real-time locations with bus and subway arrival information. It also plans to enhance voice guidance so that transportation-vulnerable individuals can travel conveniently and safely using Naver Map's navigation service.
