Learn it for real!
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yoon-su) has produced the "Busan Education Safety SEE (Safety Everybody Everyday) Signal, Industrial Accident Casebook" to prevent safety accidents among school and educational administration workers, and will distribute it to all affiliated institutions.
Following its first edition in 2021, this casebook is educational material designed to raise awareness among managers and workers about safety accidents and to create a safe working environment.
Busan Metropolitan Office of Education selected 58 major accident cases by analyzing industrial accident statistics from the past three years at the field level.
Each case is thoroughly analyzed to provide information on the causes of accidents, measures to prevent recurrence, and safety rules. The cases are categorized by tasks such as meal service and facility management to make it easier for workers to find relevant information.
To spread a safety culture in schools, the casebook also includes excellent cases from the "Near-Miss Accident Discovery Contest" held last April and photos reenacting accidents, enhancing its practical use in the field.
