Ulsan Fire Headquarters (Chief Lee Jae-soon) held the '2023 Children’s Fire Safety Poster Contest,' where Go Myung-jun, a student from Guyeong Elementary School, won the grand prize.
The contest was held from November 1 to 28 and targeted elementary schools in the region to raise awareness of fire safety and promote a culture of safety in observance of November as Fire Safety Awareness Month.
The contest results are as follows: △ Grand Prize - Go Myung-jun from Guyeong Elementary School △ Excellence Award - Nam Ye-seo from Goheon Elementary School △ Merit Award - Byeon Seong-woon from Bancheon Elementary School △ Encouragement Award - Lee Bom from Bangojin Elementary School and Park Young-hoo from Goheon Elementary School. Winners will receive awards from the Ulsan Mayor and the Superintendent of Education.
The award ceremony will be held at the fire stations overseeing the winners’ elementary schools. The grand prize-winning poster will be submitted to the 'National Children’s Fire Safety Poster Contest' hosted by the National Fire Agency, representing Ulsan City.
