On the 6th, Yeoju Energy Service announced that it held the 'Purchasing Yeoju Rice Together with Our Farmers' event in collaboration with Buknae Nonghyup in Yeoju City. Yeoju Energy Service and subsidiaries of SK E&S participated in this event, and some of the purchased rice will be delivered to neighbors in need within Yeoju City through the Yeoju Volunteer Center.
This rice purchase is expected to promote agricultural product consumption, increase farmers' income, and promote local agricultural products. In the future, they plan to continuously purchase local agricultural products to foster win-win cooperation with the local community.
Yeoju Energy Service, which began commercial operations in July this year, is located in the metropolitan area that accounts for 40% of domestic electricity demand. It stably produces electricity capable of supplying a total of 400,000 households, minimizing transmission losses in the metropolitan area.
