Passenger Car Crashes into Convenience Store in Muan Early Morning... Driver Dies
A man in his 20s died after crashing his car into a convenience store in Muan, Jeollanam-do, during the early morning hours.
According to the Muan Police Station on the 6th, at around 2:19 a.m., a passenger car driven by a man in his 20s, identified as Mr. A, collided with a convenience store at Yongsan Samgeori in Muan-eup, Muan-gun.
When the police and fire authorities arrived at the scene, Mr. A was already confirmed dead.
It was confirmed that after entering the intersection, Mr. A did not reduce speed, drove straight ahead, mounted the sidewalk, and then crashed into the outer wall of the convenience store.
The police collected blood samples from Mr. A to check for drunk driving and sent them to the National Forensic Service. They are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident based on black box footage and other evidence.
