Ahn Hyeong-ju, a member of the Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Council, announced on the 5th that the 'Partial Amendment to the Ordinance on Road Occupancy Permits and Collection of Occupancy Fees' was passed at the plenary session.
The ordinance includes expanding the scope of road occupancy permits to facilities for public interest, such as environmental cleaning posts, and stipulates that road occupancy fees and compensation fees under 10,000 won will not be imposed.
Councilor Ahn said, “In accordance with the amended Road Act Enforcement Decree, the amendment was proposed to align the expanded scope of road occupancy permits and the exemption of small occupancy fees and compensation fees imposed during road occupancy permits by changing the applicable amounts.”
