View original imageOn the 3rd (local time), Woods received 0.1069 points in the weekly men's golf world rankings announced, jumping from 1328th place last week to 898th place. He finished 18th in the Hero World Challenge (total prize money $4.5 million), a "special event" on the PGA Tour, held at the Albany Golf Course (par 72) in New Providence, Bahamas. Although the tournament, hosted by the Tiger Woods Foundation, was not an official PGA Tour event and did not count towards FedEx Cup points or prize money rankings, world golf ranking points were awarded.
