Hyundai Motor Sells 365,576 Units in November, Up 5% YoY

Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 1st that it sold a total of 365,576 units last month, with 72,058 units sold domestically and 293,518 units overseas. This represents a 5% increase compared to the same period last year. Domestic sales increased by 18.3%, while overseas sales rose by 2.1%.
Looking at domestic sales, sedans sold a total of 19,321 units, including 7,980 units of the Grandeur, 4,895 units of the Sonata, and 5,828 units of the Avante. Recreational Vehicles (RVs) sold a total of 26,783 units, including 3,157 units of the Palisade, 8,780 units of the Santa Fe, 3,205 units of the Tucson, 3,209 units of the Kona, and 5,701 units of the Casper.
In the commercial vehicle segment, 9,255 units of the Porter and 3,342 units of the Staria were sold. Medium and large buses and trucks sold 2,468 units. Genesis sold a total of 10,889 units, including 3,023 units of the G80, 3,874 units of the GV80, and 2,910 units of the GV70.

A Hyundai Motor Company official stated, “We will actively respond to the uncertain business environment by maximizing sales through production and sales optimization and improving the mix centered on high value-added models.” He added, “We will enhance the global recognition of the dedicated electric vehicle brand ‘IONIQ’ and continuously strengthen the hybrid lineup to expand sales of eco-friendly vehicles.”
