On the 1st, Dongkuk Steel Group promoted Kim Oryeon, Executive Director and Head of External Business at Dongkuk Systems, to Vice President and appointed him as CEO, conducting a total of nine regular executive personnel appointments.
Dongkuk Steel Group newly appointed Vice President Kim as CEO of its IT affiliate Dongkuk Systems, stating that they "pursued change through generational replacement."
CEO Kim graduated from Kyungpook National University with a degree in Statistics and joined Dongkuk Steel in 1990. After moving to Dongkuk Systems in 2015, he served as Head of IT Service Business Division, Head of Group Support Division, and Head of External Business Division.

Subsequently, Choi Wooil, Sales Director (Managing Director) of Dongkuk Steel, the group's core steel affiliate, and Shin Yongjun, Pohang Plant Manager (Managing Director), were promoted to Executive Director, and Jung Sunwook, Head of Finance (Director), was promoted to Managing Director.

Regarding personnel at Dongkuk Steel and Dongkuk CM, Dongkuk Steel Group explained, "Since the new companies were launched through a personnel split in June this year, we focused on organizational stabilization," adding, "While solidifying the current CEO system, we appointed capable new executives in appropriate positions to strengthen internal capabilities and stabilize the organization."
