Korea Student Aid Foundation Receives 'Highest' Grade for 3 Consecutive Years in 'Community Contribution Recognition System' Evaluation
The Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Bae Byeong-il) announced on the 1st that it achieved Level 5 (the highest grade) performance in the 2023 Community Contribution Recognition System evaluation, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Health and Welfare and the Korea National Council on Social Welfare.
The Korea Student Aid Foundation has been recognized as the best institution for community contribution by receiving the highest grade in the Community Contribution Recognition System for three consecutive years.
The Community Contribution Recognition System is a program that discovers companies and institutions that have consistently carried out community contribution activities in partnership with non-profit organizations and recognizes their contributions within the community.
In this evaluation, an assessment team composed of expert members conducted evaluations on various fields of community contribution based on ESG management, including environmental management, social responsibility management, and transparent management.
The foundation has been practicing various social contributions based on coexistence and cooperation with the local community.
Since 2012, centered on the employee knowledge volunteer group (Smart Angels KOSAF), it has continued social contribution activities to address educational welfare blind spots in the community, such as providing knowledge volunteering and cultural experience support for children and adolescents using welfare facilities, and meal support for children facing food insecurity during school vacations.
Additionally, to promote coexistence with the local community, it has strengthened social responsibility management by conducting social contribution activities linked to traditional markets and cooperative projects through the Dalgu Beol Good Life Council.
