‘2023 Jungnang-gu Lifelong Learning Achievement Sharing Event’ Showcasing One Year of Lifelong Learning Achievements on the 30th
Over 200 Participants Including Students Attend, Featuring Exhibition of 500+ Works and Performances
Jungnang-gu (Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi) held the '2023 Jungnang-gu Lifelong Learning Achievement Sharing Event' on the afternoon of the 30th at the 5th-floor auditorium of the Lifelong Learning Center.
The achievement sharing event was organized as a venue for students to showcase what they learned through lifelong learning programs over the year to residents through exhibitions and performances, sharing their accomplishments.
About 200 people attended the event, including Jungnang-gu Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi, students from the Lifelong Learning Center and neighborhood learning centers, and members of outstanding lifelong learning clubs.
The event began energetically with a performance by musical singer 'Mureop', followed by awards for residents and clubs contributing to the promotion of lifelong learning, performances by lifelong learning clubs, and presentations of students' reflections.
Additionally, over 500 works were exhibited, showcasing residents' skills learned through programs at the Lifelong Learning Center and neighborhood learning centers, as well as outstanding lifelong learning clubs. These included figure drawing, calligraphy, Zentangle, Korean painting, picture books, embroidery, and illustrated diaries, adding more attractions to the event.
Jungnang-gu Mayor Ryu Kyung-gi said, "I applaud the passion of the residents who showcased their diligently honed skills over the year through wonderful works and performances," and added, "We will continue to strive to prepare various lifelong learning programs so that people of all ages can enjoy the joy of learning."
As a lifelong learning city, Jungnang-gu is carrying out various projects in the field of lifelong learning centered on the Lifelong Learning Center, including neighborhood learning centers, support for outstanding lifelong learning clubs, Jungnang Academy 50 Plus, visiting lifelong learning, and adult literacy education.
