Naver Appoints Kim Beom-jun, Former CEO of Woowa Brothers, as Chief Operating Officer
Former Woowa Brothers CEO Kim Beom-jun is joining Naver as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Naver announced on the 30th that it has recruited former CEO Kim as COO. Kim's joining date is January next year.
Naver is undertaking new challenges in various fields such as AI, content, B2B, and C2C under the motto Global 3.0. More talent was needed to efficiently manage and operate the expanded areas of challenge.
Naver stated, "We have brought Kim Beom-jun, the designated COO who has accumulated diverse experience and achievements in technology, services, and management, as a member of Team Naver."
Designated COO Kim Beom-jun is a KAIST graduate who gained development experience at various IT companies. He served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and CEO at Woowa Brothers, leading the technological advancement, new business launches, and business growth of Woowa Brothers, demonstrating outstanding capabilities in both development and management.
