The event included ▲exhibition of career education achievements and viewing of activity videos ▲lectures on career and entrepreneurship education by theme and sharing of distinctive cases ▲presentation of the results of the Gyeonggi career education public opinion survey ▲guidance on next year's Gyeonggi career education policy directions and major projects ▲and a division-specific coordinators' meeting for strengthening career education next year.
Based on this performance sharing meeting, the Provincial Office of Education plans to focus on enhancing the capabilities of career education officers, supporting efficient career education work, sharing Gyeonggi career education achievements and a common vision, and securing the driving force for Gyeonggi career education in 2024 through cooperation and reflection.
Furthermore, through the activation of a network centered on 25 education support offices within the province, it aims to establish a regionally distinctive career education system, expand routine career education, and build a balanced Gyeonggi career education ecosystem between regions and schools.
In his greeting, Superintendent Lim Tae-hee of Gyeonggi Education said, "There is a saying that when you pursue 'jik' (position), 'eop' (work) disappears, and when you pursue 'eop', 'jik' appears," emphasizing, "It is important for students not to chase the position of 'jik', but to know what they need to prepare and to make steady efforts."
