Unid Executive Personnel Changes... OCI Owner 3rd Generation Lee Woo-il Promoted to President
Lee Woo-il, eldest son of Lee Hwa-young, Chairman of Unid, has been promoted from Vice President to President of Unid.
Unid, a chemical group affiliated with OCI Group, announced on the 30th that it conducted its regular executive personnel reshuffle. This is the first executive reshuffle since Lee took office as CEO in March this year.
The new President Lee, a third-generation member of the OCI owner family, was born in 1981 and holds an MBA from California State University, Southern California. He has worked in Unid's Chemical Business Division Overseas Sales Team, Unid Global Trading's China and U.S. branches, and served as Head of Unid's Strategic Planning Office and Executive Vice President.

The new Vice Chairman Jung was born in 1958 and graduated from Chung-Ang University with a degree in Business Administration. He joined OCI's Management Planning Team in 1983 and moved to Unid in 2000, where he served as Managing Director, Senior Managing Director, Vice President, and CEO, leading Unid's continuous growth as the number one company in the potassium-based chemical products market.
Through this regular executive reshuffle, a total of three people were promoted, including one Vice Chairman, one President, and one Managing Director.
