CJ ENM·A24's 'Fast Lives' Wins Gotham Awards Best Picture
The film 'Fast Lives' won the Best Feature Award at the 33rd Gotham Awards in the United States.
'Fast Lives' (director Celine Song), co-invested and distributed by CJ ENM and the American Hollywood studio A24, received the Best Feature Award at the 33rd Gotham Awards held in New York, USA, on the 27th (local time).
'Fast Lives' won the Best Feature Award, beating films such as 'Passages,' 'Reality,' 'Showing Up,' and 'A Thousand and One.' The film was nominated in three categories including Best Feature, Best New Director, and Best Lead Actor.
Director Celine Song said, "I am truly honored to receive such a precious award for my debut work. I would like to thank the actors who appeared in the film and all the staff. Without them, I would not be who I am today. Everyone who went through this process with me is my connection."
The Gotham Awards, started in 1991 in the United States, is an awards ceremony for independent films and dramas, hosted annually by The Gotham Film & Media Institute. Its purpose is to discover indie films and emerging filmmakers.
Previously, at the 31st Gotham Awards, 'Squid Game' won the TV category Long Form Series Award, and the following year, 'Pachinko' won the same award in the TV category Long Form Series.

'Fast Lives' depicts the fateful two days of a man and a woman who reunite in New York after being separated in childhood for over 20 years. The film stars Greta Lee and Yoo Tae-oh, and is directed by Korean-Canadian director Celine Song. It is scheduled to be released domestically in the first half of next year.
