Donations Pouring into Mungyeong Scholarship Foundation... Miorim Welfare Foundation, Geumbok Foundation, Dongchang Industry
A scholarship donation relay is continuing from various sectors to the Mungyeong Scholarship Foundation (Chairman Shin Hyun-guk).
To commemorate the 20th anniversary of its foundation, the Miorim Welfare Foundation donated 20 million KRW in scholarships last month on the 19th to support underprivileged students in the Mungyeong area and the development of local education. Following this, on the 17th, the Geumbok Cultural Foundation donated 10 million KRW in scholarships. The Geumbok Cultural Foundation was established to give back corporate profits to society on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Geumbokju’s founding, aiming to preserve local culture and promote regional cultural arts.
Officials from the Miolim Welfare Foundation are donating 20 million won to the Mungyeong Scholarship Association.

Dongchang Industry has continued its scholarship donations this year after donating 10 million KRW last year. They expressed their commitment to maintaining interest in fostering local talent as a cornerstone for regional development.
Moreover, many businesses and organizations generously contributed scholarships, including Go Man-ju, CEO of Jayeonsan Maeuntang, who won the Excellence Award at the 2023 Food Festival, donating 1 million KRW; Agricultural Corporation Liu Tourism Farm, which donated 6.06 million KRW from the proceeds of Neungi mushroom harvest; Daeyoung Construction Co., Ltd. 1.2 million KRW; Wooyoung Entech Co., Ltd. 5 million KRW; Mungyeong Jeil Hospital 5 million KRW; Jeomchon 2-dong Saemaul Leaders Association 1 million KRW; Barugesalgi Movement Jeomchon 2-dong Committee 1 million KRW; NH Nonghyup Bank Mungyeong City Hall Branch Manager Yeo Gwi-seon 1 million KRW; and Mungyeong City Daycare Center Association 2 million KRW.
