"Have You Ever Had Sex with a Man?" 40s Demanding Sexual Relations from a 20s Inmate
Rejected and then indiscriminately assaulted... sentenced to 10 months in prison
A man in his 40s who assaulted a male inmate in his 20s after being rejected when demanding sexual relations was sentenced to prison.
On the 26th, according to the legal community, Judge Im Jin-su of the Incheon District Court Criminal Division 11 sentenced A (49) to 10 months in prison on charges of assault.
A was charged with repeatedly hitting the face and body of inmate B (25) around 8:40 a.m. on February 24 last year in a detention room at Incheon Detention Center in Michuhol-gu, Incheon, causing injuries.
According to the legal community on the 26th, Judge Im Jin-su of the Incheon District Court Criminal Division 11 sentenced A (49), who was charged with assault, to 10 months in prison.

A said to B, "Have you ever experienced being with a man? Do you want to try with me?" However, B rejected A's proposal and tried to press the emergency bell to report it.
Angered by this action, A was charged with repeatedly punching B's face and kicking his body. B, who was assaulted, suffered loose teeth and received a hospital diagnosis requiring three weeks of treatment.
It was investigated that A committed the crime again while being held at Incheon Detention Center since April 2022 after being sentenced to 8 months in prison for assault in November 2021.

Judge Im stated, "The defendant has a prior record of punishment for violence-related crimes, and considering the circumstances of the crime, the nature of the offense is not good," adding, "He was not forgiven by the victim." He further explained the sentencing by saying, "I comprehensively considered the defendant's age, motive for the crime, and circumstances after the crime."
