KOSHA Conducts Special Inspections for Accident Prevention in Industrial Complexes
The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) has launched a special inspection to prevent accidents in industrial complexes.
On the 23rd, the Daegu Western Branch of KOSHA conducted a joint on-site inspection of workplaces in Dalseong-gun, Daegu, together with the "Daegu National Industrial Complex Integrated Safety Management Support Council."
First, in preparation for the vulnerable winter season, related organizations designated a "Safety Inspection Day for Industrial Complexes" and jointly promoted intensive inspections of workplaces.
The inspection focused on establishing a self-regulatory prevention system centered on risk assessments for tenant companies and emphasized preventing fatal fall accidents, such as those frequently occurring during roof construction.

The council was created to integrate overlapping activities among safety management organizations, reduce the burden on companies, and enhance the safety capabilities of industrial complexes and tenant companies by providing high-quality safety management package services.
Going forward, KOSHA plans to strengthen support for tenant companies by linking various safety-related support projects through industrial complex safety centers established in major industrial complexes to ensure the safety of tenant companies.
