Anseong-si "Ddokbeoseu, Also Available for Call by Phone"

The city explained that since Ttokbus, which has been operating four buses each in the western area (Gongdo, Yangseong, Wongok) and the eastern area (Iljuk, Juksan, Samjuk) since the 18th of last month, requires users to call via the smartphone application 'Ttokta,' it has been difficult for elderly people to use. Therefore, the service has been expanded to allow phone call reservations as well.
'Ttokbus' is the unique brand of Gyeonggi Province's demand-responsive transport system (DRT). It is a transportation service that operates flexibly in response to passenger calls in transportation-vulnerable areas such as rural and fishing villages. Users specify their departure point, destination, and desired time to request a ride, then board at the nearest boarding point. It allows free transfers with city buses, subways, and other public transportation, enabling integrated payment without transportation fare burdens.
The city added that, through cooperation with Gyeonggi Province and Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation, the phone call service, originally scheduled to be implemented in the first half of next year, was advanced.
To use the phone call service, contact the dedicated call center of Gyeonggi Transportation Corporation (1688-0181), register as a member with the guidance of a counselor, and provide the departure point, destination, and number of passengers.
