"Everything You Wanted to Do, with Mac"…Apple Unveils Campaign Supporting Exam Students
On the 23rd, Apple unveiled a domestic Mac advertising campaign supporting the new beginnings of students who took the CSAT exam.
The video captures students who have finished the CSAT and are about to embark on new experiences and challenges, easily accomplishing various tasks with Mac. It portrays the sense of liberation and excitement students feel as they leave the exam hall gates after tirelessly pursuing the goal of the CSAT, as well as their aspirations and things they want to try, all unfolding freely with Mac.
In particular, scenes of students actually using Mac apps were depicted. The video shows the use of the coding app IntelliJ, the essential student app MS Word, iMovie and GarageBand pre-installed on Mac for video and music work respectively, the widely used 3D modeling app SketchUp for spatial design, and Clip Studio Paint for precise drawing work such as webtoons and illustrations. Additionally, actor Kim Dohoon, a university student who actually uses a MacBook, makes a surprise appearance, putting a MacBook Air into his bag and entering campus with an excited expression.
The background music used in the advertisement is the song "큰 꿈 (feat. pH-1)" by singer Sogum. The scenes showing individual students focusing on their work with Mac harmonize well with the lyrics "I have big big dream."
This year’s Mac CSAT advertising campaign is the second CSAT-related campaign following last year’s iPad CSAT advertisement. While last year’s iPad CSAT campaign showcased the iPad accompanying students through their long exam preparation period, this year’s Mac CSAT campaign shows students who have finished the CSAT taking new steps toward new challenges and beginnings with Mac.
