Lincoln New Nautilus Launched in Korea... 77.4 Million Won
Lincoln Sales Service Korea launched the new model of the mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV) Lincoln Nautilus on the 22nd.
The new car is a completely redesigned model released four years after its first launch in Korea in 2019. It was first released overseas earlier this year. The name Nautilus comes from the Latin word meaning exploration, which the company explains aligns with the brand's direction. It features a large horizontal display that extends to both ends of the front. The steering wheel has a flat-top style with flat sections at the top and bottom, which is advantageous for the driver's line of sight.
The central part features an 11.1-inch center stack touchscreen, a large horizontal display. The 48-inch panoramic screen is designed to allow the driver to obtain information more easily while driving. Personalized settings are available according to user preferences. Not only the screen but also seat position and massage options can be adjusted to individual preferences. Lincoln calls this ‘Rejuvenate.’ Three different scents are also selectable.
The 2.0ℓ GTDi engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission delivers a maximum of 252 horsepower and 38 kg·m of torque. The twin-turbo engine has been improved compared to the previous version. The adaptive suspension operates by monitoring vehicle movements, steering, acceleration, and braking through 12 sensors. There are five driving modes, including Normal. Lincoln Co-Pilot 360, which includes a collision prevention assist system with emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and central alignment support functions, is also included.
The vehicle price is 77.4 million KRW (including VAT, 5.0% individual consumption tax). David Jeffrey, CEO of Lincoln Korea, said, "We will provide customers with the value of ‘ultimate comfort’ that Lincoln advocates."
