According to the distribution industry on the 25th, LG Household & Health Care’s ‘Keyring Glossy Pouch,’ given on a first-come, first-served basis to customers who purchased cosmetics worth over 50,000 won from online malls, large supermarkets, road shops, and offline stores since the 17th, has completely sold out all 10,000 units prepared.
When LG Twins’ Korean Series victory was confirmed on the 13th after 29 years, LG Household & Health Care released the ‘Keyring Glossy Pouch,’ inspired by the baseball team’s symbolic glossy jumper, as a gift. The event was originally scheduled to run until the 27th of this month.
However, as LG Twins fans who had long hoped for the championship fiercely sought to secure any limited-edition goods commemorating the LG Twins’ victory, all 10,000 produced pouches sold out earlier than expected on the 20th.
Due to the rarity of the glossy pouch, it is currently being traded on secondhand platforms at premiums of 10,000 to 20,000 won or more per item. Some consumers have requested LG Household & Health Care to produce additional pouches, but the company has stated that additional production is realistically impossible since the item was planned as a limited-edition championship commemorative promotional product.
LG Household & Health Care is also conducting the ‘LG Win-Win Festival’ since the 17th, selling cosmetics and daily necessities at a 29% price, which is a 71% discount, to celebrate LG Twins’ victory, and most of the prepared stock sold out within just three days of the event’s start.
