Bolero Champagne House Awarded 'Winery of the Year' by Troph?e Champenois
Bolero Champagne House, imported by Interliquer, a subsidiary of Drink International, announced on the 21st that it won the 'Winery of the Year (Maison de l’ann?e)' trophy at the '2023 Les Troph?es Champenois.'
Les Troph?es Champenois is a champagne-related competition hosted since 2015 by the French sparkling wine magazine Bulles & Mill?sime. Each year, about 10 trophies are awarded in various categories to individuals and entities who have contributed to the promotion and production of champagne worldwide. Four to five nominees per category are selected by journalists and wine experts, and the final winners are chosen through public voting.
This year, the top winners (brands) were selected in 11 categories: Champagne Ambassadors, Environmental Policy Implementation, Wine Tourism, Hospitality, Viticulture Experts, Winemakers, Cooperatives, Wineries, Culture and Champagne, and Gastronomy and Champagne. Bolero Champagne House was selected as the 2023 Winery of the Year.
Bolero Champagne House has been family-run for six generations over approximately 220 years, meticulously managing every process from grape cultivation to champagne production to maintain excellent quality. In addition to actively promoting the export of Champagne Bolero over the past decade, it has played a significant role as the producing winery of Korea’s first champagne brand, Golden Blanc, earning recognition for its contributions to champagne promotion and the industry, leading to its selection as Winery of the Year.
