"Female Leaders, Core to Future Growth Foundation" Hyundai Group Establishes New Education Program
Hyundai Group announced on the 20th that it has created a new Women's Leadership Program to nurture the next generation of female leaders.
The educational program targets 20 female leaders selected from among managers and above at Hyundai Group affiliates. It is a three-year course. The program is divided into areas such as leadership, online MBA, design, and thinking, centered on DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) value management, which has emerged as a key issue in the business world, and is conducted as customized training to strengthen capabilities.

As the first program of this training, on the 17th, a lecture and discussion related to DEI value management were held at the Art Sonje Center in Sogyeok-dong, Seoul. This was followed by a lecture titled "Diversity Seen Through Art" by Kim Chanyong, Korea's first docent, and an exhibition viewing. Hyundai Group Chairwoman Hyun Jeong-eun personally attended, communicating with participants and emphasizing the role and importance of female leaders.

Chairwoman Hyun and the attendees toured installation works such as sculptor Jung Jihyun's "Hangdog" and Lebanese artist Tarek Atoui's "The Rain," and held discussions together. Chairwoman Hyun said, "As seen in the fresh and original works we appreciated today, I expect that the unique sensibility and soft skills of our female leaders will play a key role in building the group's future growth foundation."
