In this post, former Minister Cho wrote, "If Mr. Yoon Suk-yeol exercises his veto power against the 'Kim Gun-hee Special Act,' he will be rejected not only by the people and the opposition party but also by the ruling party."
He added, "Conversely, if (President Yoon) does not exercise his veto power, he will be rejected by his spouse, Kim Gun-hee, who is another form of 'living power.' Which veto will he fear more? Will he choose 'regime collapse' or 'family collapse'?"

Earlier, the Democratic Party of Korea demanded cooperation in passing the 'Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act' in relation to the 'Deutsche Motors stock manipulation suspicion.' In particular, the Democratic Party declared that they would pass the 'Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act' within this regular National Assembly session (by December 9).
Kang Sun-woo, spokesperson for the Democratic Party, said in a briefing on the 10th, "In a poll released the previous day, more than six out of ten people agreed with the special prosecutor act for Mrs. Kim Gun-hee," adding, "Even in the conservative Daegu and Gyeongbuk regions, support approached 60%."
Furthermore, Spokesperson Kang raised her voice, saying, "Why does the prosecution, which repeatedly summoned opposition party leaders to disgrace them and requested arrest warrants during the National Assembly session, remain silent about Mrs. Kim Gun-hee? In the past, they overlooked it because she was the spouse of the Prosecutor General, and now, because she is the president's spouse, are they too afraid to investigate? The people no longer trust the prosecution that has thrown fairness and justice away by becoming one with power. The 'Kim Gun-hee Special Prosecutor Act' is the only way to resolve the suspicions."

Meanwhile, the suspicion of Deutsche Motors stock manipulation began with a complaint by former Blue House Public Office Discipline Secretary Choi Kang-wook ahead of the April 2020 21st general election. The main suspicion was that the account owned by Mrs. Kim Gun-hee was used for Deutsche Motors stock manipulation from December 2009 to December 2012, and that Mrs. Kim was one of the 'brokers' involved in the stock manipulation group. However, this was closed without finding any charges during the prosecution investigation under the Moon Jae-in administration.
